Since 1988, Laura has been V.P. of Communications Technologies, Inc., a broadcast engineering consulting firm located in southern New Jersey. Her specialty areas include preparation of engineering statements and FCC applications for new, or improved, commercial and non commercial FM broadcast stations. In the course of her work she consults with clients and vendors which include numerous educational institutions, electronic equipment manufacturers, investment firms and commercial and non commercial broadcast station owners. From 1988 through 1997, Laura served as the National Association of College Broadcasters (NACB) engineering advisor, was a member of the Advisory Board and participated as a regular speaker at annual NACB conferences. In 1999, when the organization was reincarnated as Collegiate Broadcasters, Inc., and until 2014, she continued her involvement as a regular panelist and contributor at CMA/CBI annual conventions. Laura has also authored or contributed to numerous articles for Radio World and Radio Guide magazine.
